Tuning the workshop

I got again into the mood to “optimize things” and have spent last few hours reading about vim and tmux configs and considering neovim and byoby and zsh and million other things.. But I’ve also learned many useful tidbits.

  1. Conemu has some issues with wsl and the task should be set to wsl.exe -cur_console:pm:/mnt
  2. tmux config is in ~/.tmux.conf. First good thing to add is bind-key R source-file ~/.tmux.conf to easily reload the settings

Tmux, powerline-go etc in VS code terminal:

Tmux and mouse seem to have different compatibilities: with ssh using cmder it does not work at all, ssh via WSL prompt and i can atleast resize the panels, but locally in WSL i have full mouse functionality

RemNote to the rescue (again!)

While fiddling with tmux/vim etc I realized there is just a ton of keyboard shortcuts to memorize, so natural tool for this will be RemNote:
